Car Perfume Safety: Where to Place It and What to Avoid

Car perfumes are easy to use, but a few precautions make them safer and help protect your car.

Placement

• Keep anything hanging from the mirror short, so it does not block your view. Some regions have rules about objects hanging from the mirror, so check your local regulations.
• Do not place items where they could interfere with airbags, the steering wheel or the pedals.
• Keep your perfume where it cannot fall or roll under your feet.

Protect your interior

Liquid fragrance can mark some plastics, leather and painted surfaces. Keep bottles upright, avoid drips, and wipe up any spills right away.

Keep it away from children and pets
